Agents 102 by Bosser

Build the thing your strategy is missing.

AI strategy starts with competence. Your people, building real agents, with your real policies. That is where the vision comes from.

The secret sauce is generalist builder agents. Claude Code, Codex, and what comes next. They are the tools that make the flywheel possible: agents that build agents, systems that improve themselves. Everything else is linear. This is not.

Questions worth asking before your next leadership team meeting.

How fast could you move if twenty people already knew how to build agents?

Most transformation programs start with strategy. This one starts with competence. The strategy gets sharper when people have actually built the thing.

What is actually stopping you from starting now?

Not budget. Not tools. Usually it is that nobody in the room has done it. Once a few people have, the conversation changes completely.

Strategic check

Agentic Readiness Check

What is your organization actually betting on? Seven strategic dilemmas. Two minutes.

What is holding you back? The tools, or the people who understand them?

The tools are ready. Claude Code, Codex, and the platforms around them are genuinely capable. The bottleneck is people who know what to do with them.

Domain check

Domain Readiness Check

How ready is your domain for AI agents? Five questions benchmarked against 9 business domains.

Your team could have built their first agent by next week. What changes after that?

In our experience, once people build their first working agent, they stop asking whether agents are real. They start asking where else to use them.

The gap is between strategy and competence.

Most organizations have an AI strategy. The board has seen the McKinsey report. A governance framework has been approved. An initiative portfolio is underway. These are the right moves. But without hands-on agent competence, they tend to produce governance of something nobody in the room has actually touched. Agents are different from earlier transformations in one specific way: they are too new and too specific to each organization to picture from a strategy deck alone. You could envision a digital company without personally building software. You cannot envision an agentic company without seeing what agents do with your actual data. The vision emerges when people build.

Without agent competence

  • Governance frameworks that govern an abstraction
  • Initiative portfolios that produce slides
  • Transformation that stays at the strategy layer
  • Strategy disconnected from what agents actually do

With agent competence

  • Your people have built real agents with your data
  • Leadership has seen what's possible firsthand
  • Strategy grounded in lived experience
  • Transformation driven by competence, not consultancy

Three things.

Train

Hands on. Your people build working agents with your security policies, your systems, your processes. Not a vendor demo. Your reality.

The output is not a certificate. It is twenty people who have built something real. And can show the rest of the organization what is possible.

Curate

We track the frontier so you do not have to. The best public research, distilled. What actually works in production. And what does not.

Vendors track their own platform. Consultancies track their own clients. The landscape is wider than either. We are building that wider picture.

Advise

Agent Platform Advisory. Context building, platform selection, and deployment. Done the agentic way. The platform landscape moves too fast for any individual to maintain comparative expertise. So people drive the context, and agents do the comparative heavy lifting.

The advisory system is deployed on your side. You keep it. The medium is the message. The advisory itself demonstrates what agentic work looks like.

From first agent to full capability. Five steps.

I built this because nobody else would.

Twenty-five years of training and transformation work at F-Secure, Nitor, Neste, Posti Group, Kone, S-Group, Wärtsilä, Elisa and Finnair. The topic used to be product leadership, agile and transformation. Now it is agents. I kept seeing the same gap: everyone talks about AI agents, nobody teaches people to build them. So I built a training program and started delivering it. First fifty people through. NPS above 80. Pretty much everyone gets it and starts building with agents.
